Again. We’ve fucked it up
We’ve created environments with
Constant access to hyper-palatable, calorie-dense food (sugar + fat + salt combos)
Little to no daily movement
Sometimes my weird brain thinks about how funny we are as humans.
Imagine Alien’s discovering Earth and observing us…
We drive to a building – lift some heavy objects up and down, on the spot, then put them back exactly where we found them.
Our environment is becoming increasingly comfortable.
Just 150 years ago we didn’t have hot water
The convenience of fridge in your home? 80 years ago
The scary thing? Look into the future!
Humanoids predicted to be in every home – cooking, cleaning – at our beck and call
Driverless cars (we hardly worked up a sweat as it is)
Universal basic income – maybe not even needing to work at all!
So yes, we are moving forward at a rapid pace, yes, it’s exciting but at the expense of it all is – us.
You and me.
Our lives are becoming more and more comfortable.
Our bodies?
Increasingly uncomfortable.
Breaking down under the weight of all this convenience
Comfortable – but not optimal.
Stop waiting for the world to change.
Deliberately seek out the uncomfortable to survive & thrive.
