Spring Got You Sprung?

Here it is – Spring!

Suns out guns out right?

Or maybe you preferred the extra layers winter let you rock. Either way, you do you.

As you would expect at this time of year, enquiries jump

If you think beyond the “oh yeah, that makes sense” and ask why the rush?

First time out in the sun, putting the swimmers back on …& shhiiiiiit. I gotta do something about this!

But who are we kidding – we’ve all had a shower or two over the past few months.

So, it’s not exactly a shock. Yet the trend still stands.

Here’s a thought: could it be that spring means other people might see us in less clothing?

Is that what’s lighting the fire under us to call the gym and take action?

Not because it’s a total surprise

Not because it’s hot out

Not because we miraculously have more time

But maybe because we know others will see us.

Here’s the thing to ponder: are external opinions a strong enough reason to make a change? For some, that’s a great spark to get moving, and that’s okay! But what keeps you going long term is doing it for you.

Now don’t’ get me wrong. Any time or reason to kickstart your health journey is a good one. Whether it’s for how you look, how you feel, or even how others see you. it’s all valid.

The trick is making sure your efforts are rooted in what matters to you deep down.

Because your health doesn’t care who’s watching.

Make it about you, and it’ll stick.
