Have you ever heard the phrase “no one knows your body like you do?”

Of course you have. I didn’t mean to insult your intelligence

Apologies.

My point is that you need to lean into that, because it’s true!

A physio, chiro, doctor, naturopath, trainer, osteo you name it. None of them, and I mean none of them, know what you know.

They are simply trying to figure out the puzzle of you, based on the information you tell them, show them, or they can see.

Become your own detective.

Somethings a little off, ask why?

  • Maybe your sleeps been interrupted or you’ve been getting to bed too late

  • Perhaps you forgot to drink much water yesterday

  • Works been super stressful

  • What did you eat or didn’t eat?

Of course, the answers won’t show up straight away, it takes time to build ‘data’.

If you lean into it, I’m sure you’ll find more answers than you expected.

Some answers you might not like or they may be confronting – but the cool thing is they are for you to know.

It sounds too simple to be true but one of my physio friends told me this – “If it hurts don’t do it”

Profound right.

YOUR body is telling you what to do or not do.

In the same way – if it feels weak, tight, locked, chronic, sharp whatever, you’re the messenger.

Let’s say your knee hurts.

Why?

Maybe you slipped and landed on it yesterday – obvious

or it could be a reoccurring pain…. less obvious

Time to dig a little deeper.

Is it on the same side you always tend to lean on when waiting in line

or is it the opposite side? Why do I do that BTW? Is that leg stronger? is the other leg tight? does it hurt if I don’t do it? why’s that?

Keep going and you’ll find answers.

Then it’s up to you what you do with them.
